NOTICE

 BEFORE CONTACTING US IN REGARDS TO FOUNDERSHIP ACCREDITATION.

           Our requirements for founders are as follows. Two fifth degree black belts and two additional black belts (4 arts total) or equivalent. Also one must have been a black belt for twenty (20) years. There are no exceptions. Also. One can not claim a tenth Dan ( 10th degree black belt) unless he / she earned it starting from shodan and earning their way up to tenth dan  by receiving said promotions by the head of the system they had studied in. We do understand that some times an individual will skip a grade. that is fine as long as everything can be documented. Being a founder does not make one a tenth dan automatically. A Soke , founder or heir, regardless of tenth dan or not is " Above" the rank structure of his system thus allowing the Soke  to promote up to and including tenth dan ( Judan) in his art or way. 

Please Note:

    .The S.M.K. has had individuals send cross grade and title certificates from their organization along with funds in hopes of obtaining S.M.K. certification without meeting the S.M.K. standards. The S.M.K. and it's members will no longer refund any " Non solicited funds" and will discard any / all certificates that are also unsolicited. The  S.M.K does NOT exchange diplomas or any type of certificates including that of cross grades or honorary membership certificates with any individual or organization.
